The Hub Teen Center opened the doors of its Spring Arbor Road location in June of 2011 with the goal of providing a safe, fun, and positive place for teenagers to be developed into great people. The leadership of the Hub believed that creating a space that teenagers wanted to go would provide opportunities for mentoring and development. The result was a 10,000 square foot pharmacy that was transformed into a teen center that now features a basketball court, a game room, a theater room, gaga ball, a computer center, a music studio, an art studio, and a concession stand.

Many teenagers in Jackson are placed at risk by their environment and by their choices.  The Hub Teen Center hopes that our consistent presence in the community will allow us to build real relationships with the teenagers that come into our building. Our strategy is simple: Anonymous – Known – Developed.  We want to take teenagers who feel alone and know them by name and by story.  Once we know a teenager, we want to provide them with opportunities to develop into great people. Development happens when a mentor provides an opportunity for a teenager.  Our dream is that the Hub’s presence in the community will result in teenagers who rise above their situation and change the world.

We are open Monday through Friday from 3-5pm, and Saturday from 6-9pm.  All visitors to the Hub must complete our registration form. Registered teenagers will receive an ID card that gives access to the Hub. This ID is required for attendance to the Hub.  If you forget your Hub card, attendance is $1.  If you lose your Hub card, replacement is $5. The registration form can be picked up at the front desk, or printed from this site by clicking on the forms section.
