Usually we try to get these posts out at the beginning of each month, but as you can tell we are running a little behind. Don’t worry though, there are still plenty of things to do around Jackson this month. Let us know what you’ll be doing to kick this summer off on a high note!
The Aimcriers Concert
June 19th, 7pm
The Aimcriers will be at The Cascades Rotary Community Bandshell this upcoming weekend. June 19th to be exact. If you enjoy Alternative Country, Southwest Folk Rock and Americana music then this event will be great for you. Join others in the community at 7pm for this free concert. (The show is weather permitting, so be prepared to change plans if it rains!)
$20K Food Truck Challenge
June 24th, 12pm-8pm
Northwest Community Schools is having a fundraiser! Head out to their Elementary School on the 24th to sample some of the best food trucks around. Tickets are $3 online, or $5 at the door. 10% of the sales from each food truck goes directly back to the school!
“Runway Show” by Apricot Lane
June 25th, 6pm-10pm
This event will be great for anyone who loves fashion, hair, music, food and airplanes! The Apron Restaurant and Spirits will be hosting this event at 3608 Wildwood Ave in Jackson. Not only will there be a runway show, but Apricot Lane’s boutique truck will be onsite so you can make purchases as well. This event is sure to impress!
Rescue Street Fair
June 26th, 10am-5pm
Pleasant Lake may not be Jackson, but it is pretty darn close. This event will definitely be worth the drive! New vendors are constantly being added to this street fair. There will be plenty of shopping, food, music, drinks and even pictures with ponies! This event will take place both outside and inside.
Fast and Furious Car Show
June 26th, 2pm
The Jackson 10 movie theater is putting on a Fast and Furious Car show in their parking lot this year. There will be chances to winner dinner/movie baskets, concessions for sale outside, and plenty of cool cars and bikes to check out. Of course they will also be showing Fast and Furious 9 as well. Admission to the car show is totally free!
